The sound that comes out of your smartphone or tablet is a little anemic, a little “tinny”, no base, no real body. While you undoubtedly have a very nice sound system in your RV or motorhome, sometimes you would like to sit outside or be in the bedroom and have some decent sounding music to listen to.
The Bose company has built up a great reputation for designing small, elegant and great sounding speaker systems and this little unit is no exception. You connect to is via Bluetooth, which every smartphone and tablet has, but you can also connect to it using a standard audio cable, so even the older iPods or other portable music players can be hooked up to this little giant of a speaker. If the unit has a headset port, you can connect it to this speaker.
And the sound that comes from it is phenomenal! Deep sounding base, crystal clear mid and high tones and capable of quite high sound levels too, although we suggest keeping things to a sense level when in an RV Park.
The speaker is highly portable. The charging dock is a separate little cradle you simply place the speaker on. When charged, you can lift it off the cradle and take it with you. Battery life is a decent 3-to-4 hours.
The best thing about is thought is the sound. Hard to describe it, you really need to hear it for yourself, but it is GREAT.
